This update introduces major changes to Anime Ranger X, including brand new solo leveling inspired content, unit reworks, a fresh battlepass, story and ranger stages, detailed unit stats, new abilities and passives, as well as important quality of life improvements. The patch also features balance changes, new systems, updated rankings, elemental breakdowns, confirmed reworks, exclusive codes, and additional developer news that provide players with a complete understanding of the current meta.

Unit Descriptions

Shadow Monarch

One of the highest ability DPS in the game (if NOT THE HIGHEST) alongside passives that make him both a support, a meatshield summer all while also allowing for insane scaling in longer gamemodes.

Shadow Commander

Insane ability DPS and synergy with the Shadow Monarch. Alongside invincibility against 1 fatal attack and regeneration. Probably one of the best tanks we have so far.

Perfect Soldier

Good DPS and stats overall with a passive that allows her to clone herself on death while keeping the same stats. Easily overwhelms most stages.

The Dancer

Solid stats alongside decent but underwhelming passives, good choice if you're new but nothing too crazy.

King Ant

Solid stats with a really nice support passive, however there are simply far better options and with how hard Beru is to evolve he simply cannot be rated any higher than "decent".

Confident Soldier

Surprisingly solid stats. Nothing insane however he is reasonable to use, his passives are... questionable as they take REALLY long times to max but they are solid buffs to himself.

Proud Soldier

Horrible base stats with passives that feel like a joke... not much to say other than that.

Unit Abilities & Passives

The Dancer (1,500¥)

Swords dance

If Unit attack doesn't trigger a crit, decrease SPA by 1% (cap: 10%). If unit attack does Crit, decrease Ability cooldown by 1% (Cap 10%).

Sword of light

Each time this Unit uses their ability, Inflict cut to all enemies in range.

Cut

Increases enemy Attack Cooldown and Ability Cooldown by 10% for 20s (15s cooldown).

Quake of Provocation

When an ally lands an ability within this unit's range, this Unit deals 100% of that ability's damage to the target (30s cooldown).

Confident Soldier (1,750¥)

Berserker

After being alive for 45s, this unit enters Rage mode: after Rage ends, Unit enters depression. Rage Mode +400% Damage and 95%+ SPA for 30s. Depression: stuns and takes 200% damage for 60s.

It's Only Me

Limit units global placement to 1 in return, increase all stats by 2% every 10s (cap +200%).

At Field Destroyer

Units attacks deal +20% Damage to Unholy, Holy and Unbound enemies for 10s (15s cooldown).

Perfect Soldier (2,000¥)

Dummy Plug System

On death, unit respawns a clone of themselves with 100% stats of the unit (60s cooldown).

Dummy Plug Overload

Every time the dummy plug system is triggered, increase all stats by 10% (Caps at 300%).

Proud Soldier (1,500¥)

Mecha Synchronize

When unit deals at least 10% of an enemy's max HP in total damage, her stats increase by +1% (cap 5%). Each time unit loses 25% HP, the cap of this passive increases by 1% (max 15%).

Berserk

Every failed crit makes this unit lose 0.5% HP. Each time unit loses 2% HP strictly from this passive, she gains -1% attack cooldown and +3% speed, but stuns herself for 3s (cap +10% attack cooldown, +20% speed).

Shadow Commander (2,000¥)

Demon King’s Longsword

On a successful ability hit, unit follows up with a strike dealing 50% current ability damage, stuns the enemy for 3s and makes them take 10% damage from all sources for 10s (30s cooldown).

One of the Two wings

For every 25% of HP lost, gain a 10% DMG buff (caps at 50%, resets on death). When triggered, Unit is guaranteed to activate "Demon King's Longsword", regardless of the passive's cooldown.

Commander's touch

When receiving a fatal hit Unit gains an invincibility barrier that negates all damage for 5s. When the barrier is applied deal 300% ability damage to all enemies and regenerate 25% of max health.

Shadow Monarch (Evo) (3,000¥)

Monarch's authority

If any shadow is on the map buff them by 100%.

Arise

On every kill, create a Shadow/Summon. Whenever this unit creates a Summon, gain -2.5% Attack cooldown and 5% Range (caps at -10% and 20% range).

Repulse

For every shadow killed gain 2.5% damage (cap: +1000% damage). Resets if this unit dies.

Absorption

After 100 shadows die, do Attack one and deal 20x damage in range for a short period.

King Ant (Evo) (1,750¥)

Screeching Roar

Every 30s enemies in range are Stunned for 3s and take 20% damage for 15s.

Gluttony

If Beru deals at least 30% of an enemy's total HP in damage, he gains 50% damage and 3% max HP (stacks up to 4).

Self-Sufficient

When an allied unit that was deployed dies within King Ant's range, he absorbs that unit buffing his own stats by 100% and buffing every other allied units stats in range by 25%.

Element / Affinity Explanations

ELEMENT: Divine

They will deal 25% less damage to all enemies but will take 44% less damage from all standard attacks. Also, for every 1 speed gain, gain 5% stacking attack.

Holy

They will deal 25% less damage to Unholy and Demonic enemies. But for each enemy that is affected by a status in range of this unit, gain 5% stacking HP and DMG (up to 50%).

Demonic

Will deal 33% more damage to Holy and Divine enemies. When Demonic enemies use abilities, they gain a further bonus of 50% ability damage on the next ability.

Unholy

They will deal 50% more damage to Holy and Divine enemies. Unholy units will increase the damage enemies take after ability cast by 33% for 20 seconds.

Unbound and Bound

Units will deal standard damage to enemies. Also gain 10% increase on all stats.

Unbound (additional)

Each takedown grants +8% bonus damage, stacking up to 5 times (+40% total). At max stacks, you become Empowered: +25% Critical Strike Chance (based on how many hits), instantly restore 20% missing health, gain 15% movement speed.

Bound (additional)

Bound units will further increase support buffs by 7.5% for every unit in range (capped at 75%). At max stacks, grant all allies in range a 10% health shield that decays over 60 seconds.

Reworks

As of right now there are 3 confirmed reworks, being Gojo, Eto and Funny Valentine.

New Meta

SJW is an insane unit. That's one thing I can confirm. Other than that you'll have to wait for the official tier list to be released.

How do I get Igris?

Igris is a secret from the normal banner, he's a 0.01% and CANNOT be obtained from rate-up banners. You need to obtain him and then further evolve him.

Why is the leaderboard reward the same?

It has been confirmed that the dungeons leaderboard reward will remain "Senku" for 5 total seasons! Meaning he will stay as the reward for 3 more seasons as of the solo levelling update.

Extra / Unrelated News

Unfortunately the reworks could not be released this update however as it was said in Balancer posts they will be delayed to be polished out fully and not feel rushed. BUT also ARX has hit its peak CCU count of around 90k people — thank you, the community :). There are currently 3 reworks in balance patches that were shown, make sure to check them out.
