The **Anime Vanguards: HEAVEN AND HELL 6.0** update is our biggest release yet, dramatically expanding the game with competitive features and new realms to conquer. PVP Game Mode: Assault, Defense, and Ranked
PvP is launching with three unique modes: Assault, Defense, and Ranked. Each mode is available in both Traited and Traitless variants.
Assault Mode: Economy and Mutators
2 players battle it out, sending each-other enemies tailored to their needs, with 15 Enemy Mutators to choose from! Includes a unique Economy system.
Defense Mode: Battle of Wits
2 players are pitted against each other, but players are unable to send enemies to each other.
Ranked Mode: MMR and Unit Bans
Ranked Mode is based off of Assault mode, with an in-built MMR system. Players can climb the ranks, all the way from Iron to Vanguard, for end-of-season rewards.
Unit Bans (Ranked-Only)
Before the match starts, each player can ban up to 5 non-farm units from the opponent's inventory (including Evolved and Unevolved variants).

Mob Creator & Economy System
Send enemies to your opponent through the Spawn Enemies menu. Enemy Spawning is managed by a Queue System (one enemy every 0.2 seconds, maximum Enemy Queue). Earn Yen from Player Economy each wave, adjusted by Enemy Spawns and Modifiers.
PVP Modifier Cards
Every 5 waves, both players pick a negative card for their enemy. Rarity chances: Common (90%), Epic (9%), Legendary (1%). Only Common cards are enabled in Ranked.
PVP Map Pool
Features Dual-Lane overhauled variants of: Golden Castle, Planet Namak, Shibuya Station.
New Stages and Gameplay Mechanics
New Story Stage: Heaven's Edge - The Armored Mechanic
6 Acts of chaos on Normal and Nightmare difficulty. Features new enemies, bosses, and the brand-new Armored mechanic. Armored enemy Damage Reduction is $12.5\%$ multiplied by the stacks next to the HP bar. Stacks are restored after 10 seconds of not taking damage.
Features: New Guilty Gear OST, $2\%$ chance of a Lfett Portal upon victory.
New Legend Stage: Shining Castle - Brutal EX Act
4 grueling Acts, culminating in a brutal EX encounter. The EX Act has scaling Hard-Set to 4 Players, where you can obtain rare items such as Byeken's Quest Item drop (*Very Difficult Act).
Features: New Guilty Gear OST, Mythic Ro Jer familiar Legend Stage drop, $2\%$ chance of a Lfett Portal upon victory.
Weekly Rift Cycle and Rift Shop Restock
The Astolfo Rift is new, and Rifts will now cycle every week to allow players to obtain past units like Yehowach. The Rift Shop restocks weekly, including Trait Rerolls and new additions: a Secret Temporal Rift item (instantly opens a Rift) and the Mythic Foo familiar.
Odyssey Modifier and Element Changes in 6.0
Odyssey Modifier Buffs and New Modifiers
- Battle Frenzy: Now grants $0.5\%$ DMG and $-0.25\%$ SPA on kill, stacking up to 30 times. Buffs are doubled to 10 (+2 per stack) seconds at 30 stacks.
- Essence Collector: Buffed to 50 (+50 per stack) extra yen per kill.
- Affinity: Now picks an element from a random non-farm unit on your team upon pickup.
- NEW Modifier - Luck Catcher (Previously System Fragment): Grants an additional roll on any luck-based modifiers, +1 roll per stack.
- NEW Modifier - Spoils of War (Previously Nexus Core): Now grants a $0.5\%$ chance for slain enemies to drop a random modifier.
Element Revisions and Buffs
- Fire: "Immunity to Snare" replaced with "Increases damage of other fire element units in range by $1\%$ (Per Unit Placement)."
- Holy: "Reduces time of any debuffs by $10\%$ " replaced with "Reduces time of Status Effects by $50\%$."
- Curse: Damage buff against bosses increased from $5\%$ to **$30\%$**.
- Cosmic: "Buffs Unit Damage by $10\%$ (Removed upon 1st Upgrade)" replaced with "**Cleanses all status effects and debuffs on self (Local 30 second cooldown)**."
- Passion: "Increases unit's dodge chance by $10\%$ " replaced with "**Increases range of other passion units in range by $2\%$ (Per Unit Placement)**."
Quality of Life (QOL) and Unit Cosmetic Changes
General QOL and New Settings
- Dynamic footstep sound effects.
- Moving during a mount's startup animation will instantly cancel it.
- Increased Dawntay (Jackpot)'s Crit Damage by $75\%$ during his SDT form.
- New setting: Skip Wave End Rewards View.
- New setting: Disable Stat Multiplier Pop-Ups in-match.
- Hold the Upgrade Button to mass-upgrade.
- Losing Stocks now shows Tips on the end-screen.
- In-Game timer is now available next to the Wave counter.
- Missing unit custom Idle Animations added for Eizan (Aura), Yomomata, Luce, Dave, and Rohan.
Unit Cosmetics and Mounts
- Saber (Alter) model option now only gives the sword.
- Ishtar model option gives the bow.
- Rogita VFX has been overhauled (less bright).
- Rom and Ram gives the mace; Shiny Rom and Ram gives the maid outfit.
- Tuji's Model cosmetic gives his sword, as well as his worm if Shiny.
- Shiny Smith John model cosmetic now gives Lord Of Shadows model.
- Vigil Model cosmetic now has a sword and sheath; Dawntay Model cosmetic now has a sword.
- Song Jinwu and Igros cosmetic has Igros appear/disappear into the player's shadow.
- New Cosmetics added for Obita (Awakened), Yuruicha (Raijin), and Oryo (Antithesis).
- New Mounts: Ro Jer Bike Mount (PVP Shop) and Deranged Bed Mount (Dreamlike Reality Mount Bundle).
Item/Unit Finder and Match Invites
The Item/Unit Finder is available in Act Selection (automatically selects the Act for a drop) and Crafting & Synthesis (filters materials for a selected unit).
Match Hosts can now directly invite any other player in their server (including PVP mode).
Extensive Bug Fixes in Anime Vanguards 6.0
Over 30 Bug Fixes, including critical gameplay issues:
- Fixed issue where EVERY single crit attack started up another attack.
- Fixed issue where Odyssey Milestone Rewards could be obtained an infinite number of times.
- Fixed issue where Divalo (Requiem) and Isdead (Romantic)'s CC lockout would be ignored.
- Fixed issue where the Strong modifier would be completely non-functional.
- ACTUALLY fixed issue where Valentine would be unsellable.
- Fixed Odyssey tome Fleeting Spell dealing $85\%$ of enemy HP rather than $15\%$.
- Fixed issue where Units with swap mechanics would cause extreme ping in high wave Infinite runs.
- Fixed issue where Alocard would apply bleed per instance of damage, rather then attack, on certain attack types.
- Fixed issue where Ultimate Rohan would be immune to debuffs on placement.
- Fixed issue where Saber (Black Tyrant) would gain $1\%$ range when a Sokora is placed.
