From godly knives and ancient weapons to exclusive maps, challenges, and leaderboard prizes, here’s everything you need to know about what went down during the Christmas and Halloween events in Murder Mystery 2.

🎄 Christmas Event 2020

Event Duration: December 13, 2020 (pre-release) – January 13, 2021

🧊 Event Highlights

• Pre-Release (Dec 13): A festive winter-themed lobby was added, along with the Peppermint godly knife, available through a 1,699 Robux gamepass.
• Full Release (Dec 23): The Cookieblade godly knife debuted (also 1,699 Robux), and the complete event went live with all features.

🎁 Main Event

Progression: 20 levels, each unlockable for 800 Snow Tokens.

• Icebreaker (Ancient Knife): Earned after finishing all 20 tiers and spending an additional 70,000 Snow Tokens.
• Iceplayer (Radio): Unlockable for 5,000 Snow Tokens.

🎄 Extra Features

• Christmas Box '20: A limited-time crate available with 800 Snow Tokens or a Snow Key.
• Gifting Center: Players could send gifts (1,000 Snow Tokens each). Sending 100 gifts earned the exclusive Jinglegun.
• Santa’s Challenge: Collect 10 specific weapons to receive the Santa’s Spirit knife.
• New Maps: Introduced Log Cabin and brought back the Workshop map.

🏆 Leaderboards

Top 100 players in two categories received special rewards:

• Token Collectors: Red Icebreaker
• Gift Givers: Red Iceblaster
• Top 3 players in each leaderboard earned Gold, Silver, or Bronze variants.

🎃 Halloween Event 2020

Event Duration: October 26 – November 22, 2020

👻 Event Highlights

• Part 1: Included a spooky new lobby, 30-tier main event, candy exchange, daily challenges, and a special mystery box.
• Part 2 – Scary Mode (Nov 7): A unique gameplay mode similar to "Piggy" on Roblox, accessible through a portal in the lobby.

🍬 Main Event

Progression: 30 tiers, each unlockable with 600 Candies.

Final Reward: After Tier 30, players faced the "Traveller Challenge"—costing 80,000 Candies to unlock the Hallowscythe (Ancient Knife).

🦇 Scary Mode Rewards

• Batswarm (Effect): Found by retrieving a teddy bear in the attic.
• Slashed (Knife): Earned by winning as an Innocent or Clown.
• Bats (Knife): Awarded for defeating two trapped Innocents as the Clown.
• Hallowradio (Radio): Given to players who completed all Scary Mode challenges.

🎁 Additional Features

• Daily Challenges: Completing tasks rewarded bones, which could be used to earn free event tiers.
• Mystery Box: Contained exclusive Halloween weapons, openable with 600 Candies or a Pumpkin Key.
• Vampire Item Pack: Sold for 1,699 Robux, included the Vampire’s Edge (Knife) and Vampire (Effect).

• Top 100 Candy Collectors: Received the Blue Vampire's Edge.
• Top 3 Collectors:
