🌉 Roblox Rivals: Korean Update (Update 9)

Released in January 2025, Update 9—also known as the Korean Update—pays tribute to the vibrant Korean community in Roblox Rivals. This update brings new content, exciting challenges, and cultural elements to the game.

🗺️ New Map: Bridge

One of the most notable additions in this update is the Bridge map, set in the heart of Seoul, Korea. Designed by @GreatGuyBoom, this mirrored map features a central yellow bus with the Korean greeting "안녕하세요" ("Hello").

Players spawn between pillars and roadside barriers, with key areas marked as “Sensei & Co” and “Enemy.” The environment includes tactical walls and barriers, plus an out-of-bounds zone that gives players a short warning before eliminating them if they don’t return in time.

🎯 Special Challenge: Bungeoppang Charm

New challenges are now available on the Bridge map. Completing these tasks earns players keys that can be used to unlock the limited-time Bungeoppang Charm—a cosmetic inspired by a beloved Korean pastry shaped like a fish and filled with sweet red bean paste.

🔧 Additional Changes

• Weapon Skins: Minor tweaks have been made to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed Series: The “Hexxed” skin series has been renamed to “Vexed.” This change affects the Flare Gun, Candle, and Wrap skins.

🗨️ Developer’s Note

The developers shared that Update 9 is focused on cultural celebration, which is why there are no gameplay balance changes or bug fixes this time. However, they assured players that a Ranked-focused update is coming soon and will address improvements and balancing.
