Main Features

• Fossil Digging: Players could dig for fossils daily on Fossil Isle. Each day, they could uncover two fossils, which were analyzed by an NPC named Henry to reveal previews of pets coming in the Fossil Egg.

Rewards

Completing fossil discoveries rewarded players with themed toys and pet accessories based on the rarity of the discovered pets.

🥚 Fossil Egg Release

Release Date: October 10, 2020

Cost: 750 Bucks

Availability: The Fossil Egg replaced the Aussie Egg in the Gumball Machine and was available until April 16, 2021, when it was succeeded by the Ocean Egg.

Appearance: The egg had a prehistoric design with a green, brown, and tan color scheme, featuring dinosaur-like scales and a tail.

New Features

• Mining Mechanics: Players could dig through layers of dirt, stone, and granite using three types of pickaxes:
  • Copper Pickaxe: Default tool for dirt.
  • Iron Pickaxe: Unlock after collecting 10 iron ores.
  • Diamond Pickaxe: Unlock after collecting 20 diamond ores.
• Fossil Sequencer 7000: This device allowed players to clone pets by collecting 20 fossils of a specific type and paying a fee in Bucks.

• Brachiosaurus (Common): 25 Bucks
• Velociraptor (Uncommon): 100 Bucks
• Ankylosaurus (Rare): 400 Bucks
• Elasmosaurus (Ultra-Rare): 1,200 Bucks
• Dimorphodon (Legendary): 3,600 Bucks or 1,000 Robux

Additional Features

• Fossil Bundles: Players could buy bundles of five fossils for specific pets to speed up the cloning process.
• Daily Reset: The dig site reset every day at 11:00 AM ET, allowing fresh mining opportunities.
