The Monkey Fairground was a fun, circus-themed event in Adopt Me! that let players collect exclusive monkey pets, rare ingredients, and festive accessories. This guide covers how to get each monkey variant, the contents of Monkey Boxes, drop chances, and what happened after the event ended.
πͺ Monkey Fairground Update β Adopt Me!
The Monkey Fairground was a limited-time event in Adopt Me! that ran from May 28 to June 25, 2020. It introduced a vibrant, circus-themed area near the Pet Shop on Adoption Island and brought six special monkey pets, each with their own unique transformations and accessories.
π¦ Event Boxes
- Monkey Box: Cost 600 Bucks. Guaranteed one Monkey and two extra items.
- Premium Monkey Box: Cost 195 Robux. Offered a chance to get an Albino Monkey and higher-tier items.
π Monkey Variants & Transformations
To evolve a basic Monkey into a specialized variant, players needed three identical ingredients and one Monkey:
- Business Monkey: 3 Briefcases + Monkey
- Toy Monkey: 3 Cymbals + Monkey
- Ninja Monkey: 3 Scrolls + Monkey
- Monkey King: 3 Staffs + Monkey (Staffs only came from Premium Monkey Boxes)
Each evolved monkey came with themed accessories, such as the Monkey King Crown or a Ninja Headband. Accessories werenβt automatically included in tradesβyou had to manually add them to the trade window.

- Common (45%): Items like Cotton Candy
- Uncommon (30%): Hypnotic Flying Disc
- Rare (15%): Ingredients such as Briefcase or Cymbal
- Ultra-Rare (10%): Scroll Ingredient or Clown Car
Premium Monkey Box (195 Robux)
- Chance: 90% Monkey, 10% Albino Monkey
- Uncommon (45%): Clown Umbrella
- Rare (30%): Briefcase or Cymbal
- Ultra-Rare (20%): Scroll Ingredient or Clown Car
- Legendary (5%): Staff Ingredient

In addition to transformation ingredients, boxes could contain other fun circus-themed items:
- Vehicles: Clown Car, Monkey Pogo Stick
- Toys: Monkey Propeller, Hypnotic Flying Disc
- Food: Cotton Candy β gives players a temporary speed boost
π Trading & Availability
Once the event ended on June 25, 2020, Monkey Boxes were no longer available. However, pets and items from the event could still be traded with other players. The Monkey Fairground was designed to be a traveling event, hinting that it might return to Adoption Island in the future.
