The Adopt Me! update released on July 13, 2023 brings a ton of exciting features! From safari-themed pets like the Lion Cub and Ostrich to the brand-new Friendship Bar and Age-Up Potion system, there’s something for every pet lover. Whether you’re collecting Robux-exclusive pets or completing tasks to boost your Friendship Levels, this update makes growing and bonding with pets more rewarding than ever.

🗓️ Week 1 – July 13, 2023: Welcome to the Safari Zone
This week introduced a Safari theme and a brand-new feature: the Friendship Bar!
🐾 New Pets
- Warthog (Uncommon) – 600 Bucks
- Ostrich (Rare) – 1,300 Bucks
- Lion Cub (Ultra-Rare) – 150 Robux
- African Wild Dog (Ultra-Rare) – Earned by purchasing 5 UGC items from the Adopt Me! avatar store
💖 Friendship Bar Feature
Level up your bond with your pets! Complete 30 tasks with a fully grown pet to earn one Friendship Level.
- Each level gives you an Age-Up Potion.
- Potions can advance the age of any pet (except eggs or already fully grown pets).
- Friendship progress resets if the pet is traded.
- When making Neon or Mega Neon pets, their Friendship Levels combine.
🧪 Code Redemption Kiosk
A new Code Redemption Kiosk appeared in the Trading Hub, letting players claim in-game rewards from special promo codes. No active codes were available at launch.

🐆 Giant Cheetah Mount
Type: Legendary Vehicle | Price: 900 Robux
This is Adopt Me!’s first ever animal-themed mount! It lets you zoom around Adoption Island without interfering with your pet's needs. Bonus: you can still have a pet out while riding it!
🎉 2x Weekend Event
When: July 21 – July 24, 2023 (until 4 PM GMT)
Enjoy double Bucks and faster pet aging! While Age-Up Potions still need 30 tasks, this event lets you fill them up twice as fast.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Fixed pets spawning next to the player instead of appearing from the box.
- Resolved ice skating issues in the Cozy Cabin and Ice Cream Shop.
