🌊 Adopt Me! World Oceans Day Update

This special event was launched as a collaboration between Uplift Games and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) to raise awareness about marine conservation. It introduced exclusive items, fun activities, and supported real-world efforts to protect ocean life.
🌐 Event Overview
Duration: June 8 – July 8, 2021
Purpose: To celebrate World Oceans Day and promote marine conservation awareness.
Support: Uplift Games generously donated $50,000 USD to the WDC, helping projects like the OrcaLab research station in Canada.
🎁 Free In-Game Items
During the event, players could visit the Ocean Stand near the main bridge on Adoption Island to collect unique ocean-themed items:
- WDC Pin Badges: Up to 8 different collectible badges, each representing marine life. Players could earn one badge per hour.
- Clam Stroller: A cute pet stroller shaped like a clam shell.
- Musical Conch: A calming toy that plays ocean sounds.
- Seaweed: A fun snack item for pets.
🐾 Ocean Egg & Aquatic Pets
Although the Ocean Egg was released earlier (April 16, 2021), it remained a major attraction during the event. It could be bought from the Gumball Machine in the Nursery for 750 Bucks. Inside were a variety of sea creatures:
- Common (20%): Stingray
- Uncommon (35%): Crab, Dolphin
- Rare (30%): Seahorse, Narwhal
- Ultra-Rare (10%): Clownfish
- Legendary (5%): Octopus, Shark
👕 Community Engagement
Players had the chance to design an official Adopt Me! x WDC charity T-shirt. The winning design was sold in-game, and all profits went to support the WDC. The winner received:
- A bundle of official WDC merchandise
- Adopt Me! x WDC T-shirts
- A one-year dolphin adoption through WDC
- In-game rewards like a Mega Neon Narwhal, Mega Neon Dolphin, and 10 Ocean Eggs
