The Pixie is a magical little pet in Grow a Garden that boosts your crops’ growth and even makes players levitate for fun! 🌿🧚 This guide covers its passive ability, hatch chances, and how you can unlock it during the Fairy Event.
Pixie ✨ — Grow a Garden Pet
A tiny fairy-like pet that speeds up crop growth and makes nearby players float for a short time. Cute and very useful for speedy farming! 🌱🧚♀️
Appearance
The Pixie looks like a small glowing orb with translucent wings and sparkling eyes. As it hovers it leaves a shiny trail behind it — very whimsical and magical. ✨
Passive Ability — "Pixie Dust" 🪄
Activation cadence: roughly every 3 minutes and 33 seconds.
Duration: about 15 seconds each time it activates.
Plant effect: While active, plants within about 16 studs gain accelerated growth: roughly +30 seconds of in-game growth for each real-life second during the effect window — a huge boost for speed-growing crops. 🌾
Player effect: Players standing nearby may levitate off the ground while the Pixie's ability is active — a fun visual plus a neat movement quirk. 🕊️
Because of this combo (massive crop growth + levitation), the Pixie is excellent for quick farming sessions and adds a playful touch to the game. 🎉
How to Get the Pixie
- Take part in the Fairy Event in Grow a Garden. 🧚
- Collect Glimmering mutated fruits during the event.
- Submit those mutated fruits to the Fairy Fountain (or Wishing Well) to earn wishes.
- When you make wishes at higher Fountain tiers, the Enchanted Egg becomes available as a reward. Hatch the Enchanted Egg — it has a chance to contain a Pixie.
Approximate Enchanted Egg → Pixie chances by Fountain tier:
- Tier 2: ~7.7% chance
- Tier 3: ~17.2% chance
- Tier 4: ~22.7% chance
- Tier 5: ~29.4% chance
Once you obtain an Enchanted Egg, the hatch chance for the Pixie is about 29% from that egg. 🥚➡️🧚
